So glad that your mom and whole family are using hospice at its fullest. Also very glad that through this your mom is actually feeling better. Sending continued love and prayers to all of you. Judy

Hello dear Lorrie! When I first signed in, I read the lovely, caring and educational article your Sarah wrote. Jane let me know of your situation. She also let me know that earlier on, you returned to tutoring and being of service to our little ones. I know you’ve gone through some really rough times, and given time to recover, from what your Sarah has written, I see your “indomitable Lorrie spirit” shining through. I know you are so surrounded by the love of your family and your Carden Hall family. Please know my prayers, thoughts and love are always with you. I’ll drop you another note soon. ….and please thank Sarah for the wonderful article she wrote.

You look great, Lorrie, and happy! And OF COURSE your knit hat matches your outfit. I'd expect nothing less of you.

I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better now that you're off from the chemo Lori. I continue to pray for you everyday. This that you are on is one you never planned, but it's one that will bring you closer and closer to Jesus, for which we can all be thankful and look forward to for ourselves. Thank you Sarah for a wonderful summation of the best way to make use of hospice care. I think you should put it into a pamphlet to be distributed to people so they better understand it. Take care and God bless, Pastor Randy

Thank you Sarah for the information. I had heard just recently that hospice was better sooner then later and you confirmed. God always puts us in places were we are needed for ourselves and others. You are a gem of a daughter. Thank you.

Lorrie, I think of you often and think about the fun we had a year ago at your house. Many of us, became a little bit closer
because of you and have even kept in touch throughout the year. You gathered us and shared so much of yourself, your home and our history of the family. A weekend that I will surely never forget. You and family are in my prayers. Sounds like you are doing better and I pray that it continues. Take care my cousin and know that you are loved. HE has us all in his hands and for that I am thankful.

Sarah, thank you for keeping us informed through your posts. It was such a wonderful surprise to see Mrs. Blaine (from afar) at the Fruit Fair at school on Friday. The 2nd graders were singing their hearts out and it filled my heart with joy to think of how many young hearts have been touched by Lorrie 💝. I'm praying for each day's decisions as they come. 🙏🏻

Sarah, this is SUCH good information! A year or so ago, a friend went through the process of moving her mother to hospice. Her mother was in a care facility in another state and the facility was recommending hospice care. My friend's initial response was "They want to kill my mother!" After much talking to others who knew more, she wished she had made the decision much earlier in her mother's life as her mother died just a few months after making that decision. As I said, this is GOOD information for all of us to hear.

You and your entire family are in our prayers.
