My heart goes out to the Rose/Blair Family! Lori and I met just less then four years ago at Dellwood. Although I never knew her all the years since 1989 when I moved to St.Francis. When she worked with me ( she gave her all to our patients over and beyond) she and I would have long talks and realized we knew many of the same people and had most likely been in the same places years earlier without even knowing. Lori and I shared talks about us both being mothers raising daughters. She loved her girls and always so thankful for her Grandchildren. I saw and heard her many stories and her wit and her ability to find a bargain for herself or anyone who needed it. I know the time I knew her she was already struggling with her breathing but she kept on going. She loved having us get together and play bingo. I have her last text telling me she was going into hospice but still wants to go play bingo anytime let me know . I will buy a bingo card just for you next time I go. I will forever miss your jokes, smiles, snickers, your love to go places, your love for Charlie. I truly will always think of you when I am eating oreo cookies and butterscotch candies. I am saddened I was not there to give you a hug and to tell you how much you left forever memories in my heart with such a short time. May you breath easily and dance with your dearest friend Penny. You are now in the arms of your heavenly Father and your Earthly Father I knew you missed so very much. I love you Lori! Peace be with your family.
