Journal entry by Lorie Pauley Bitters

Well I am officially done my Chemo!! Whoot Whoot.. Last Friday, I completed my last session and celebrated with my husband, daughter and friends.  I climbed the Art museum steps to signify conquering an uphill journey.  Let me tell you my calf's were crying the next day... But it was well worth it.  I had my leukemia markers done on Friday to make sure I'm still in remission.  I hope to have those results back later this week.  My Dr doesn't suspected an reoccurrence.  She said the chance of it coming back is minimal.. Like less then 10 percent  I'm good with that.  I'm still nervous,  but I feel great to think I've beaten this and I'm on the path to living!  I want to thank EVERYONE for all that you did.  I could not of survived with out you all supporting me.  My family would of starved without you feeding them LOL  Kidding, Brian is an excellent cook.  I will make quarterly updates on my remission, as needed.  But other then that, I'm done with this chapter in my life and I'm about to embark on a new one!  I look forward to getting stronger, and returning to work full time.
I love you all
