Peer pressure is actually a good thing. Left unrestricted it can take us places we don't want to go. (Some are more vulnerable than others)

It’s okay to look compassionately at the jones and the Koehn’s. Reach your arms, with Jesus’ help, right past their new SUV and nice vacation, right past their “I’m fine!!” In church, right past the Mennonite farce of “I have so much to be grateful for” and wrap those arms around their empty and sick and disconnected hearts, that they don’t even know are sick. Ask them how it’s really going. And cry. There are a whole lot of empty and sad eyes behind a lot of nice houses and suvs these days, and it’s breaking my heart. We are sick.
