On December 13, 2019, our father and grandfather suffered a stroke and went into a coma. He was rushed to the Juan Dosado Memorial Hospital in Damolog, Sogod, but was transferred to Danao City Hospital. Due to the lack of medical attention, he was relocated again to the Cebu Doctor's Hospital in Cebu City, where is currently confined in ICU.
