A chiropractor friend just recommended a strong course of probiotics for c-diff. Contact me for the course she recommended if you want to persue this. Prayers!

sometimes yoghurt with live active cultures can help, also a very starchy diet, but usually antibiotics are the standard treatment. Fecal transplant works very well but is often used only in people with chronic recurrences of C. Diff. Praying for perseverance and correct choices. Love to Lois.

oh boy, what a struggle it has been. Even the bravest and most courageous would be discouraged by the challenges she hsa faced. No solutions. Only the belief she will pullout of this. Love and blessings to all.

So sorry to read that this struggle has become so difficult for Lois and you and your family. Will keep sending positive thoughts and healing energy your way. Life shouldn't be this hard. It sounds pretty irresponsible for the staff to not be able to get her dietary needs right. That is key to her recovery.

I know it sounds disgusting, but check into fecal transplant (bacteriotherapy). Johns Hopkins has a good article www.hopkins.medicine.org
There are other websites with testimonials from patients treated successfully. And raise some holy hell about the lack of communication! There's no excuse for that! Her diet is essential to her recovery. Sending healing vibes.
