Oh so blessed for having met Lisa and praying with her this last year! Blessings come in various ways and one of the blessings is being allowed the privilege to pray for and serve others who are in need. God has blessed us all with the joy of knowing Lisa and continuing to know her family who we can lift up in prayer to find the joy in knowing their mother and wife fought the good fight, and has finished the race, and has kept the faith! And now we go on to fulfill our Purpose in God's Great Plan! Thank You Lord for this blessing of Lisa and her family. AMEN

I have been so blessed by following Lisa’s journey on Caring Bridge. She was a wonderful Christian lady. What a testimony her life was and is. We will be praying for Frank and the children.🙏❤️

Thank you, Teri, for keeping readers updated on Lisa’s blog and continuing life story. After our last visit and conversation, I asked the Lord’s mercy on our dear friend, having recognized the painful struggle. I believe in God’s mercy and healing, however He deems is best. And it was difficult. Lisa is greatly missed by all who knew her. But only God knew when.

Teri, I had no idea you were the one who passed along the tidbit about allowing others to bless you. In true Lisa fashion, she passed that along to me when I was struggling to allow her to bless me.
Thank you for being such a dear friend and posting these updates.
We shared a beautiful gift in Lisa's friendship. ❤️

Oh my goodness!!! Our Lord took her home before I could get to her to say, "I love you, Lisa. I'll see you there!" The hand of our God is favorably disposed to all those who seek Him. Ezra 8:22

Lisa reflected Jesus. Now rejoicing in the presence of God, her body is finally at rest. I can just imagine the joy as she remains at the feet of Jesus.
She was so excited about the Awana ministry and called me to get things started at the church where she was the children's ministry director. As the Awana Missionary for Oregon, I have yet to see anyone so thrilled to start a club. Her exuberance and love for her family and her Lord was unmistakable. She shared that one of her greatest desires was to see kids fall in love with Jesus and learn to be disciples of Him for the rest of their lives. What a testimony.
She shared her health history, work issues, family dynamics, and desire to follow God's leading when difficult events began to consume her. Through tears on the phone, she often expressed her desire to be a daughter of Christ and have a heart of forgiveness. Despite all that took place, she focused on being thankful and loving others. Lisa was an inspiration to me, and I treasure the few years we worked together through Awana. She will be greatly missed. I will pray for Frank and her family, with the desire that they will continue to reflect Jesus in their lives and follow Lisa's example.
