Journal entry by Lisa Stromme —
There is progress being made – very slow progress, but in the right direction.
Unlike last November, there was no evidence of any new metastatic disease with this last round of tests.
The whole house was scanned and they didn’t find any new messes that needed to be addressed.
However, that old mess in the damn party wing we didn’t know about…
It is all still there.
The moving crew has been packing, but they haven’t really cleaned that out yet.
There is still quite a bit of work that needs to be done over there.
So, second verse – same as the first.
We are sticking with the same treatment regimen for another three rounds.
Then we’ll scan the house again.
The first three rounds were (so) tough, but they are behind us now.
We are going to continue on the same path forward, round by round, day by day.
I am going to keep telling my incredible husband and amazing kids how wonderful they are.
I am going to keep thanking all of our friends and family for supporting us through all of this.
I am going to keep sending love and well wishes to all of you out there.
Thanks for checking in.
With Love, Lisa and Family
