Newest Update

Journal entry by Lindsay Lodick

The battle has begun.

Maybe not off to a running start, though..
This Wednesday, mom had her first round of chemo. Everything seemed to be running smoothly, until it wasn’t. I received a call from mom, and she sounded out of it. She was able to tell me she was being admitted for low sodium levels, and that’s it. She sounded quite dazed and confused.

Currently, I’m waiting for a call back from a nurse for an update. Time is standing still until then... We know she will be okay, but I can’t help but wonder what complications this will bring her in her journey. We may have hit a small hurdle today, but tomorrow is a brand new day full of miracles waiting to happen.

Thank you all for the support. I will make my best efforts in keeping you all updated!
