Dearest Lisa and Marty, thank you for sharing, once again, from your hearts. It was a reminder of the extent of struggles, fears, courage, hope and sometimes even joy in your journey called cancer. Through it all you have openly and bravely shared your trust for God’s healing and the hope in the assurance of His grace. We have been reminded that when you were at your lowest… He was there, and when you rejoice… He is there! What a perfect Heavenly Father who has held you all these months!
My encouragement is from a devotional I read years ago… “When your child falls asleep on you in comfort and peace, you just want to stay there holding him and loving him. That’s how God is with you! He just wants you to rest on Him in peace and comfort.”
So, dear ones, rest in our Heavenly Father and soak up His peace and comfort. He is faithful! And in the meantime, you will forever be on my heart and in my prayers.
