Thank you to Lindsey for keeping this updated! She failed to mention the team of warriors specifically…..Lindsey and her Duke Hem / Onc team who literally saved my life working in the middle of the night. Lenae, our additional trusted nurse who cared for me amazingly; LeAnn the self proclaimed kidney family expert. Eugene and Sharon Hofeling who are just amazing people. Carla Hofeling who came in and helped Scott. Cheryl and Jim B my cousins from Texas who showed up when Leann called them. Cheryl spending time with me and Jim with Scott this week getting him where he needs. Lindsey already mentioned my very special aunts. My dear friend Julie Spanier who drove in from minnesota to help get Dave where he needed to be. My dear friend Kristi who threw Cali’s bridal shower. My boss and co-worker’s at guardian angels have but kept things running.

And my sweet Anthony who cared for me this weekend. I can’t wait to be home; we have a wedding to wrap up! And come heck or high water….I will be there front and center.

We have the best family in the world.
