Dear Lisa,
Thank you so much for this beautiful Recovery Letter. I can't wait to see you in NC sometime soon.
Joyful hugs and celebrations from Johannesburg.
Cath and Keith and Alex
Well, this is some of the best news imaginable. I would say 'thank the lord' but honestly I'd thank your inner resources and the love that surrounds you and, of course, lady luck.
May I offer another “silver lining,” Lisa? Your illness gave us all the opportunity to contribute, each in our own way, to your recovery—thus adding great meaning and significance to our lives and to what would have been a less fulfilling summer. So it is we, too, who thank you, even knowing that you never intended to do this for us.
Lisa, your special message inspires and provokes profound feelings of gratitude. This is the ending all of us wanted and wished and prayed for. Welcome back!
