Berni, Thank you for sharing your connection with Lisa and your adventures. No wonder she knew all the great places in Wales to take us when we visited. How lovely to have a song thrush visiting. I find comfort in learning of Lisa's adventures in life. We considered her our "butterfly", landing once in a while to visit, but soon to fly off again. Elaine

Thank you so much for this Elaine - there are gaps in my contact with Lisa and i can carry a fuller picture of her in my heart now. We were around each other when she lived in Chester, and we did at least one long hike together in Wales, Lisa also stayed here in Wales with me once or twice. Mostly though we went along to buddhist evenings and study groups in Liverpool and Manchester. We had a delightful teacher, Dharmottara who died 3 years ago, and i find myself talking to both her and Lisa.
Lisa and i both loved seeing the birds, and as i type a song thrush has started to feed right outside my window. They have a beautiful song and are now not as commonplace as they used to be. A song thrush for Lisa and you.
With love

Thank you for sharing this. Though there is incredible loss on this earth for all who knew Lisa, there is peace in knowing she LIVED and LOVED and LET GO all in her own spirit. And that spirit is free now of worldly weight & discomfort.
Much love to you, Ralph and to Elaine. You will both also be forever in my heart and in the hearts of all who loved Lisa.
