I am so very saddened by your loss. Lisa was a beautiful soul and her loss creates a large void in your home and our community. I have been thinking and praying for you all for the past few years and will continue to do so.

Matt thank you so much for taking the time in your grief to send a post. When ever Lisa had a new journey entry I would immediately stop in whatever I was doing to read it. Her journals were so inspiring EVERY TIME!!! With all that she went through she never lost her strong faith in God. As you continue on this journey know that many prayers will continue for you, Cooper & Claire. We who are praying don't know exactly what you will need each day as you wake up but God does & our prayers will be answered each day as you allow God to provide what you need just for the day. No matter how much Satan wants to discourage us God is always there - He never leaves us nor forsakes us. Someone as special as Lisa won’t ever fade from our hearts and memories. She lived with such passion and everyone who knew her, myself included, was blessed by her presence.
Matt and kids, we are deeply sorry for your loss, she fought so bravely. You and the kids are forever changed for the better by helping her every step of the way during this battle she fought. Her legacy lives on. I can still see her bright smile and hear her joyful laugh, and you will continue to see Lisa's legacy through Cooper and Claire.
I am so very sorry to hear of Lisa’s passing! She was exactly as you described! Being coopers preschool teachers was such a joy and I loved visiting with Lisa and Claire when it was drop off and pick up time. I’m am heartbroken for you all! Prayers and hugs!
