We will miss Linn very much and her not joining us for holiday dinners. As I got older in life both Eddie and Linn were people I became closer to and appreciated so much. Rest in peace Linn and I have comfort you are with Uncle Eddie now! My only regret is we were not able to be with you because of the times we are in currently. As Grandpa Petschl always said............. Until we meet again! (Of course in German)
She will be sorely missed by our family. We all loved her very much. She toiok such good care of Ed during his illness we all wished we could have been with her.
Linn is on the maximum life support that is available, she has bilateral blood clots. We spoke with her doctor, Dr. Nicolette Myers this afternoon she will be removed from the respirator tomorrow.
Linn's greatest fear was BEING ALONE. Due to the COVID19 she is alone with no one to hold her hand or tell her that she is loved by so many.
Linn, we are going to miss you and that BIG smile. It is time to be with Ed and your mom and dad.
Linn still remains in the ICU unit at Methodist Hospital. She has not had any improvement. She remains intubated and in a self induced coma. Kidneys are failing, a new infection in her lungs, a bacteria in her stomach from the medication that is treating her pneumonia and irregular heart rhythms. A nurse has stated that she has had no response at all.
Please keep Linn in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I have been trying to find out how she is doing. I have texted and emailed but haven't heard anything. Thank you for your comment. I am so sorry this has been so difficult for her. My prayers are with her and all of you as well. Our family is very concerned about her. Rodie Petschl Westmoreland
We would be happy to share our last visits with Linn and our conversation with her doctor.
