Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Chris and family. So happy you all could celebrate Thanksgiving as a family. See you later Linda. We love you all.

Linda could not talk about her Lord very long before a quiver in her voice and tears would appear. She would glow at the thought of seeing Jesus. I'm confident that she is a bright presence in heaven as she was here among all of those who knew her.

Linda lived life large with the assurance that Jesus always had her back. She was a huge part of our Bible study and her knowledge of the Word and insatiable appetite for learning more I'm sure gave God pleasure. She will be missed beyond words but who could take this beautiful ending away from her? Thank you, Dick, for this follow-up. We love you!

I was blessed to have Linda enter into my life on several different occasions over the last 25 years. I first met her working at Van Dyke Day School, she would pick up pastries at Publix and bring to the kiddos for snacks. Several years later, I was in a water aerobics class and next to me was dear Linda. We spent more time gabbing than swimming and were always causing disruption in the class. She always seemed to turn up in my life like a shiny new penny. God's love surrounded her like a shroud. I will miss seeing her when she would go to Nancy's for bible studies, or when I would run into her at Sam's. She gave me peace. I will miss her smile, her laugh, and the praise she always gave to Jesus. I'm glad they finally have met! Peace and comfort to her family who she loved so very much!

Virginia and I were so happy we could spend a week with my sister and Dick. Linda always had a smile on her face. I love you and will miss you terribly.

I am so glad that Linda's Thanksgiving was full of love, joy and family. She was such a vibrant person, it was hard to see her in these last few weeks sprawled on her couch with oxygen. Her faith got her through this final battle, and she had told me years ago when the Lord called her she would be ready. We will miss her!

Thank you for sharing her final moments with us Dick. Your care for her in her final hour is what our wedding vows are truly all about. Well done. Heartbroken. Relieved to know you were right there with her, providing that security, holding her tight so she was not alone. She expressed to me these past weeks her sincere appreciation for your care. As for Linda - she transitioned to eternal life in an instant. Her brightest light is for us who love her, a dark moment. As she desired, may God be glorified as we remember her. Apart from Him, she counted herself nothing. Appreciate the pictures from Thanksgiving. Her smile remains contagious. Love to you all!

For everyone who has ever been part of a Linda Bodkin Bible study or book study, I really want to have a blow out luncheon for her after January hopefully after we have a vaccine. I cannot believe Linda has left us. She was larger than life and such a disciple of Jesus. I remember how excited she got when she talked about meeting Jesus. That gives me comfort in knowing that she has reached her final destination. God bless and comfort her precious family as they mourn her passing and celebrate her life. I will never forget her!

She was truly a lovely woman who was completely confident of God’s tender care for her! I am sure she is experiencing indescribable joy right now. I hope that is a comfort to you Richard, Chris and family. Please let us know if she had wishes for any memorials gifts.
