Linda, Zach, and Jake . . . I know Michael shared a post from both of us, but I wanted to let you know my heart is breaking for each of you today. I understand so much the heartfelt pain that comes with making the difficult decisions you have made over the last couple of days. Please know that you are each in my prayers as you make this life journey together. I believe, in time, the sun will shine again in each of your lives. It’s hard to know what to say when life throws us a curve ball and you have no choice but to face it head on. I want you to know a few things, Linda. I love you! When I think of the times we shared, I can’t help but smile! You are one of my favorites! Although, we didn’t get to see each other as often as we would have liked, we could always pick up right where we left off. Distance didn’t keep us from loving each other! Oh, the funny cousin stories, childhood memories and laughs! (Jumping those hay bales, horseback riding, playing hide and seek, to riding grandpa’s little Ford tractor... just to name a few) You are such an amazing person and I just want you to know I’m thinking of you and keeping you all in my prayers. You boys are both amazing but that's likely a product of how your Mother raised you. Our hearts go out to all of you and Linda, we hold you in our prayers and place you in the hands of our Lord. You have been a blessing to so many people and their lives are richer for it. As always, we are nearby for any support you need.

Hi Linda. I work with Jacob and although I’ve never met you, I’ve sure enjoyed the stories I’ve heard about your family over the years. You have amazing children, great job mom! You are an amazing person who has clearly touched the lives of many! Love to you all!

Jacob, thank you for your very careful, very thoughtful, very tender updates. We have awaited them eagerly hoping for better news. You and she together are making good, but difficult, choices.
