Journal entry by Willie Morgan —
Linda had a great two week trip "outside" to Bainbridge Island and Mount Vernon, Washington, staying with brother Jeff and his lovely wife Ardell. She got to catch up with many of her high school friends and a good college friend, interspersed with naps and relaxation at the Big Lake cottage. Husband Jeff flew down for the second week and flew back to Anchorage with Linda in time for another CT scan and her next immunotherapy treatment. The scan showed a bit of improvement, which was very encouraging news.
If you're in Valdez, Linda appreciates the meals people are bringing by and the chance short visit. Fatigue, lack of appetite, and trouble getting enough liquids seem to be the main challenges at this time. She needs more protein and is supposed to stay away from tomatoes and fatty foods. She's interested in smoothies, so it would be great if an occasional protien-rich smoothie showed up at the door from time to time.
