What a journey this has been. And through it all was the evidence of God’s Loving Arms carrying Libby , Kyle, and our whole family, as well as the legions of friends down this path to wellness. We will forever Praise God and be grateful! Grandma Nan and David 🙏🏼❤️🤗

Lisa, what a beautiful testimony to God’s love and faithfulness and especially to Libby and your whole family for showing us all how to put your complete surrender and trust in the providence of God. Thank you for sharing this journey with us, which was at times very raw and personal. In doing this you have allowed us to grow spiritually with you. Libby you are a walking (and Smiling) miracle!

As we close this chapter of our life, I want to say a humble and heart felt thank you to you all!! I haven't posted anything and left that to the Wordsmith of the family. The overwhelming out pouring of love, cards, meals, and visits were greatly appreciated to say the least. All of you, even people I had never met, touched our family in the kindest way with your concern and prayers for Libby's recovery. Life will get Lifey on you when you least expect it and having a strong spiritual fitness will help you endure the toughest of times. Be well and love one another. Jim Shea

Beautifully said Lisa!!
That was quite a journey for all of you, especially Libby!!

So grateful she is on this strong and rapid path to recovery.
No doubt a result of all of the love, support and guidance of her family, friends and her hospital and rehab team!!

Being a strong willed, hard working and very determined child certainly helped her to be an overachieving patient!!
Taking her life back on her terms!! I love it!!

Keep up the great work Libby!!💙

So beautifully written, Lisa! It is certainly a mystery how the best of the many and varied human qualities and emotions tend to emerge during the low points in our lives. Maybe it’s because, in light of our struggles and sufferings, we realize our utter dependence on God and, in all humility, turn to Him more fully. He responds through the acts of charity, compassion, and love of others. I’m so grateful that Libby is doing well; a miracle in itself, and that your lives are all the more enriched through the love so generously given from family and friends. God bless you and your sweet famIly, dear friend.
