Levi David’s Story

Site created on May 14, 2018

Hi! My name is Levi. I am a few days old and giving my parents some anxiety with my health. Soon after I was born and went home, I started not to feel so well. I was tired and sleeping more, and not wanting to eat as much. I didn’t realize it, but my blood sugar dropped really low. I turned some colors of grey and gave my parents a heart attack. This is my journey to getting healthy, and hopefully soon to be torturing my sisters with stealing barbies, ripping off doll heads, and climbing cabinets. It runs in my barker genes... just sayin!

Journal entry by Aunt Terah Pickle

I am finally back home!!  I had my parents room in two nights with me instead of one until the doctors made sure everything was safe for me to go home!  I had to take more tests than most kindergarteners in the past two days, but they were with my best interest in mind. My parents seem tired, but they are happy to be home and settle into a routine. My doctors were really busy this weekend and seemed to make things take longer than they needed
which began to make my parents impatient. All is well now, there is peace and quiet with no more nurses interrupting me and I no longer hear the alarms going off all around me that I have become accustomed to. By the way, my nurses really were amazing caregivers and I’m thankful they were able to help care for me so I could get to feeling better. I hear I have some follow up appointments in the next few weeks but I’m just going to take it one day at a time!!

Thanks for praying for me!
