Hi, John... your poems are truly wonderful. I remember Leslie coming over to show me the poem you wrote on her birthday in 2020. Watching me read it, the happiness on her face could have been that of a 16-year-old girl; by the time I read the last line, I was teary and your brown eyed girl was absolutely glowing with pride that her husband created it for her. We're often reminded of your home's happy vibes that you and Les so graciously shared with us as that generosity of spirit has been thoroughly embraced and continues on through Norm and Trish. Keep writing, your poem is a beautiful tribute to Leslie and a great reminder that what is truly important in life never ends.
