Journal entry by Leslie Abruzzo —
I have great news...today is my last day of treatment! I go in at 1:00 for one final round of Herceptin! After that, I will schedule a time to have my port removed, and then just yearly check ups from now on.
It is amazing looking back at this past year and how I was feeling so overwhelmed this time last year. Now, I feel strong and courageous! God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good!
Thank you everyone for checking my CaringBridge site, for commenting on my journal entries, and most of all, for praying for me! If you ever need to reach out to me to talk about my journey or to talk about my faith, don't hesitate to email me: leslie_abruzzo@yahoo.com
The most important thing through out this entire journey AND the most important thing in my life is that Jesus Christ is my savior. That means that I recognize that I am a sinner and can never earn my way into heaven. But the Bible says in John 3:16 "that God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life". All it takes is to realize that you are a sinner, confess with your lips and believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and that he died on the cross and rose from the dead! It's simple but life changing!
Love, Leslie
