It has been 4 1/2 years since Leslee passed on to the other side, but our friendship is still vivid in my mind. Today is Leslee and Doug’s anniversary, and I am thinking about how they used our harpsichord for their wedding. The Pachelbel Canon was played on that day, and will always remind me of Leslee. Go with God, Leslee, and may your family find peace in the knowledge that you were a ‘best friend’ to countless ones of us! Jeanne

Doug,
What a kind and loving husband and caregiver you have been, not just this last year, but throughout your life with our beloved Leslee. Thank you. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your steady, constant love for her.
It is impossible to imagine life without laughing, and singing, and talking about all things, big, small and inbetween with my dear friend of over 50 years. So many wonderful, magical memories have been spinning around my head as I remember our cherished years of friendship. Distance and recent family obligations prevented frequent time spent together, but, as another dear friend put it, Leslee and I were “joined at the soul.” We always “got it,” we always understood, there were never any questions asked. We just were. And it made for a glorious, unique and precious friendship. Leslee’s faith was deep and pure. Her goodness and light was shared with anyone and everyone. I am profoundly saddened by her loss, but rejoice with the angels that she is at peace in her heavenly home.
Doug, I wish you and your sweet family, comfort, and rest, and satisfaction in knowing that you helped pave the road to Leslee’s eternal home with deep love, compassion and devoted commitment.
Much love,
Janet

Doug, Corey, Peter & Charles,
Leslee, the wife and Leslee the mother will never be far from her boys! I know how much she loved each of you!
May these words bring you comfort.
I am with you still. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone.
I am with you still in each new dawn.
