What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful, creative, fun loving, wife, mother, Grammy and friend to many, she will be greatly missed. Her legacy will live on in the many people she touched. My prayers are with you and the family.

This is a beautiful description of Leslee. From the first time I met Leslee back in the summer of 1987, I felt her warmth. (We'd just come to Canada after 14 years in Zambia, and I was a fish out of water. She was a ray of sunshine!) What struck me then and every time I had the opportunity of being with Leslee after that, was her love for her family. She was obviously invested and gifted in her creative pursuits, but she always spoke of her family. I knew family was her deepest interest, joy, and bedrock strength - along with her faith in God. And she was always interested in what others were thinking and feeling. She had the gift of really listening and really caring! My heart is breaking with you now, Tom, Bryan and Greg. And I know that I speak for our Springle family and for our Oak Meadow Home Church family as we all treasure Leslee and love you and your family, Tom. I have no doubt that Leslee's vibrancy and joy - and yes, gentle kindness that you mentioned - are free now as she is with Jesus, her friend and Saviour. I thank Him for eternal life and the sure hope that death is not the end.

A wonderful tribute to Leslee and I learned more about her - a powerhouse of a woman indeed! My heart and prayers to you Tom and her entire family as you each move forward keeping her memory very much alive.

My heart goes out to all of the Bell family and Leslee's very large extended family. Heaven has gained an angel for sure. Leslee made us all better versions of ourselves and I will always hold her close to me. Lots of love and prayers to you all. xoxo
