Newest Update

Journal entry by Kathy Hall

Well we've reached the half way mark in Les' radiation treatments! He's done well but is now feeling the side effects such as fatigue, headache & upset stomach. The radiation only takes about 20 minutes, so I drop him off, park in the parking garage across the street & he calls me to pick him up when he's done. We've got it down to a science.

We've enjoyed visits from all of the boys & families over Christmas & New Years, so now we'll hunker down & finish up his radiation treatments. He's taking chemo meds seven days a week in addition to the radiation. We are scheduled to go back to Mayo March 8th for an MRI and followup appointment.

Not much other news - we're sure enjoying the mild temperatures & minimal snowfall this winter! (Knock on wood!)

Thanks again for your love, encouragement & prayers as we travel this new journey.
