Fighting for FuzzyFace!

During the summer of 2020 my father LeRoy , also known as Fuzzy Face began to experience severe abdominal pain, which at the time was determined to be pancreatitis. Since August his pain had not improved and another CT scan was done. At this time it was determined that he had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer which had metastasized to his kidneys. This new diagnosis has bought on a lot for my father to navigate at one time. He will undergo weekly treatments to help stop the progression of his cancer and hopefully help prolong and improve the quality of life that he has. The cancer has caused him to lose over 60lbs in the last few months and an overall 100 lbs. over the last year. My father LeRoy is a very kind and humble man and has chosen to fight this disease with all that he has because he has 8 amazing grandkids cheering him on and so many other friends and family.

So many have asked how they can help or what they can do. My brother and I are helping to make sure that he has all that he needs but this diagnosis has brought on many expenses. We are  all working to cover them but anything extra will help defer some of the costs while he is undergoing treatment. Some things that we are working on getting together are winter clothes as everything he had from last year is three to four sizes to large, shirts that make it easy for his port to be accessed, a seated walker to help him with mobility and soon also a wheelchair, disposable masks so that he has them and those that come around him have them and can be easily disposed of, and finally just all the new medication costs he has accrued.
