We are home! LJ was discharged from the NICU last Sunday! 🤗

LJ's bilirubin is still a bit high, so he will need to be on special formula & medication, but it's much better than before.
His last echo showed that he still has 2 small holes (1 in the upper chamber & 1 in the lower) & also a bicuspid aortic valve (meaning 2 leaflets instead of 3), but his blood flow is good!!!  The best news is that his PDA has finally almost completely closed on it's own & that his aortic arch is showing no signs of being too narrow. It actually showed it is normal size!!  This means that no surgery is necesarry at this time!!!!!!🙌❤🙏

We've been home for about 5 days now & he is doing great!  His breathing is much better, his skin looks healthier & he is eating from a bottle much easier.  Trust me, this boy does not miss a meal, lol.  He will continue to be followed by cardiology & the GI dept for a while, possibly life for cardiology, but we are beyond grateful for this outcome.

So many of you prayed for us & with us & continue to do so.  I know with my whole heart that it's because of the prayers that we can share this testimony.  He is a miracle working God! We are so blessed. Thank you again to everyone that has reached out by phone, txt or a FB msg; dropped off a meal, prayed for us & continue e to show us support & continue to do so since we've come home.  The amount of love we've received is inspiring.  Just when we've thought, "how is this going to work" or "what are we gonna do now?" here comes someone showing up with exactly what we needed right on time.  God is sooo good!  There's so many miracles God has blessed us with throughout this time that I need to share, but I'm still trying to process it all.  We couldn't have gotten through this without you.  Nothing has gone unnoticed.  We love & appreciate all of you.
