Hello from Sioux City, Iowa
Never thought I would be living here!! John had health problems so we decided to leave the farm. We sold our farm house , the farm buildings, & some acres, but kept most of the farm land. We had planned to move to a new Assisted Living facility built in Rock Valley. However, nine days before we were going to move, it burned to the ground. Sioux City was plan B!!
The facility here has about 100 seniors in 3 floors of apartments. I live in the Independent Living section.
John had a stroke April 5 of last year. He went from the hospital to a skilled nursing home. The nursing home never let me or our family visit John. We could only visit through the window. More later.
