Leo’s Story

Site created on November 21, 2020

On Thursday November 12th, 2020 Leo was taken to the hospital due to shortness of breath and disorientation. He started out at Crosby hospital up north where they determined that his issues were much too serious for them to handle. He was then transferred to Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis where doctors determined Leo was in the midst of heart failure. It was not long after that we found out he would need to go into open heart surgery for any positive progress to be made. He made it out of surgery only for us to find out his heart is very weak. Too weak for them to follow through with there original plan. At this time we continue to pray and remain optimistic that our precious father, brother, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, and friend return home to us very soon!

Today we got to say welcome home to Leo!! He got his Christmas wish and so did his family. Thank you all for the prayers, kind words, and for sticking with us and Leo during this time. He has so appreciated everyone who has reached out to him these past weeks.
