Hello,

I’m writing to give you an update on Leigh Ann.  As you know, she’s been battling Pancreatic Cancer since her diagnosis in the Spring of last year.  She fought through three intense rounds of chemotherapy that culminated in an amazing summer full of healthy energy, some travel, and visits with friends and family from near and far. What an amazing gift that filled her with love and new memories.

Her disease has now spread to the point that Hospice home care is the right path with a focus on her comfort and rest. With that as the goal, Leigh Ann really needs your prayers and her privacy. Her friend network is extensive and you are all incredible and important to her. To respect her needs, it will be important to limit visits.  It’s difficult to ask such a loving group of friends who are accustomed to Leigh Ann and Telly’s graceful hospitality to abstain from visits, but that’s precisely what she needs right now. In lieu of visiting Leigh Ann, we ask that you send her a handwritten note. A sentence or two with a memory or a loving thought. Something she can hold and think of you.

Please also hold off reaching out to Leigh Ann or Telly directly as they need to focus on Leigh Ann’s rest and comfort.  They both thank you for your love and respect.
