Still grateful for our Friday chat. Hoping for a great surgery (surely there is such) tomorrow morning and things feeling more positive, physically and mentally.

Hi Lee - What a drag about your recent complications. I hope they can get you repaired and up and "running" again soon. I can well imagine the prospect of more surgery is daunting.
Hang in there!

Lee, good morning. Understand your struggles, especially feeling you are back at square one. Many years ago, one of my teaching colleagues in Adams had just, along with her husband, completed a kitchen remodel only to have a fire in their kitchen a few months later. She felt totally defeated. In an effort to provide support, her mother told her that the Lord gives us only what we can bear. My friend’s reply was, but I’m not an elephant. Ditto for you.

Quick question. Have you ever seen a gyrfalcon? One has been spotted between Loveland and Fort Collins balancing on utility wires along the main north-south connector road. An Arctic bird, only occasional sitings in northeast Colorado occur.. We had spotted it, but didn’t know what it was until a local naturalist wrote about it in our local papers.

Doug will email with instructions for reading comments.

Many big hug,
Rose
