Lee’s Story

Site created on March 1, 2019

On Saturday February 9th,  my dad had an inter-cerebral hemorrhage stroke (brain bleed) in his cerebellum.  Luckily Mari (my mom) was around to call 911 and he was transported to Beaver Dam hospital where they determined that he had a brain bleed. He was immediately transported via ambulance to UW Madison as they have a specialized Neurology department. We will do our best to keep everyone updated as my dad goes through this unexpected tough time in his life and ours. Please keep us in your players.

Jeremiah 29:11-13  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Journal entry by Shelly Coron

On February 13th, 2020, we lost a part of our family to a strong fight against cancer.
Dad held on a lot longer than anyone anticipated and with sad hearts we will say goodbye until we see each other again in Heaven.

Even though we are heart broken to see him go too soon from this earth, we are happy he is no longer in pain and with the LORD above. Thank you to those who have kept tabs on dad. He loved and appreciated you all.

I will end with one of his favorite songs:

Coming Home (funeral lyrics) by William Kirkpatrick

My fight is fought, my race is run.
Now I am coming, coming home.
The path of life, I have now trod.
Lord, I am coming, coming home.
Lord, I am coming, coming home.

You gave me many precious years,
But now I'm coming, coming home;
The glorious light of heav'n appears
Lord, I am coming, coming home.
Lord, I am coming, coming home.

Coming home, coming home,
Heaven's joys are now my own
Open wide your arms, Your arms of love.
Lord, I am coming home.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

How sweet the rest of paradise.
Now I am coming, coming home.
With saints above, I claim my prize.
Now I am coming, coming home.
Lord, I am coming home.

Coming home, coming home,
Heaven's joys are now my own
Open wide your arms, Your arms of love.
Lord, I am coming home.

LORD, I'm coming home.
