Lea and Ed’s Story

Site created on August 28, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We recently got the unexpected news that Ed has cancer of the pancreas.  We find ourselves suddenly moving in directions we hadn't anticipated.  There is so much to do!  We will be using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Please look here for updates.

Journal entry by Lea Ryman

Dear Friends and Family,

Ed's friend, Joe Kenneally, and his Class of 75 friends are hosting a
celebration of his life this Sunday, May 26, at 2pm in Hudson. Joe has a
pond on his property which Ed chose for his final resting place and Joe
named "Ed's Rest". To honor Ed's passion for gardening, friends are
asked to bring a favorite perennial to add to the garden at Ed's Rest.

Directions: The pond is behind ADM Milling, 201 NY-23B in Hudson. Turn
in at ADM Milling and there will  be signs to follow back to the pond.

Joe will be providing burgers, etc and class friends are contributing
salads but everyone is invited to bring something to share. Please bring
lawn chairs. There will be a porta-potty on site too.

The forecast for Sunday is perfect and everyone is invited!

Those who are FB friends with Ed can let them know you are coming via a
comment to one of the recent posts about the event. Anyone else, please
call or email Karen Greene just so Joe has an approximate count.

Thank you.
With love,
Lea
