Lawrence Butler Townsend, "Larry", was born on Friday, July 8, 1938 in Alton, IL.  He married June in 1962 and had 3 sons - Lawrence (Lar), Chris (Tree) and Ken.  He loved his family very much, and celebrated his grandchildren: Kaileigh, Payton, Sloan, Taylor, John and Emilee, and his great-grandchildren:  Marc and Patrick

Larry passed on January 8, 2020.  He had a very full life, filled with love and laughter.  Please post any stories, thoughts, remembrances, and photos here so that family and friends can share in your memories.

A celebration of Larry's life is scheduled for 1/26 at 4:30 p.m., at Northfield Community Church, with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall at the church
