It was a shock to see Laurie's obituary this week. Her passing came way too soon! Laurie and I met while serving on the Minnesota Folklife Society board, we had many folkie adventures and when our lives drew us to other jobs and family responsibilities--fate would bring us together, or actually Laurie reaching out to stay in touch. The last time I saw Laurie was at the American Swedish Institute, probably in 2019 before COVID. I never thought that our brief chat would be the last time we would see each other. My condolences to Laurie's family. Gone but not Forgotten!

I worked with Laurie at Target and enjoyed all her stories and laughter. So sorry to hear she died so suddenly.
