Fantastic, Laurie… You are back on your feet and getting out in nature! Love the photos of the views around your place. Isn’t it a wonderful fall? With the rain last Friday, at least we got some refreshment. It must’ve been beautiful at your place during the storm! Hello to Ben and Gus! Lots of love from Kathy

I lived around coyotes for many years in Woodland Hills; they would walk the other way when seeing a human.
Ditto to Betsy Anderson's comment, they are a wonder.
Laurie, you getting out there to enjoy the nature is such a blessing; every post shows that you are getting stronger and stronger. Happiness! Love You!

Coyotes are a terrible problem in my neighborhood, and I’m in Culver City! The death toll of pets is near 50.

They haven’t harmed any humans... yet. Walk with a big stick or bat, or something you can bang together to make a loud noise.

Seeing a coyote is a good sign. I've never heard of them attacking a person. They are true survivors. They've managed to thrive despite all of the changes in their environment. He was there for you today💜💜💜

Sounds like you had a nice walk. Don't worry about the coyotes (unless you're a small dog or cat). I see them all the time...no threat to us humans.

I'm in awe that you can go out at7 am to exercise!

Beautiful scenery! Soooooo happy you’re able to hike again. That coyote knew better than to mess with a badass warrior chick!
