Laurie, I've been away from your progress for a while. You're finally seeing how tough you are when all around you have seen and admired this from way back. Praise God for your continued recovery and much love to you every day.

Your recovery and strength are amazing. But I’m not surprised. In the patient community, we have seen so many people endure and show so much strength. People are incredible. But what you’ve gone through is truly one of the toughest things I’ve witnessed in all of my years with lymphoma. And your recovery is truly awe inspiring.

Love everything about this message. Here's to you, to Ben, to love, to composing music and writing poems (neither of which I can do), to our amazing bodies and their abilities to heal and grow stronger, to enjoying a meal with friends, and to beating cancer.
