I do remember the movie and I have experienced that Prednisone buzz.
Amazed that you were able to experience the beauty of the night. Having a bracelet from Gus is the ultimate god luck charm!
Love, Paula

I don't remember that movie, Laurie, but I do remember a bunch of us talking about picking lint off the carpet because the vacuum cleaner would wake up the household in the wee hours of the morning . I also remember being able to get my Christmas shopping done while taking that drug. I hope and pray you have the exact day you want tomorrow. Glad, too, that Gus is home safe and got some amazing photos. Hugs, Jane

💋💋💋. To you my badass warrior Sista! 💋💋💋

And to Gus...Welcome Home, Budd! Glad you didn’t get eaten by any remaining cannibals while you were in Fiji! I can not wait to see your underwater photos from your trip! Will you posted them on FB?

Can’t wait to see your Fijian Good Luck bracelet, Peanut! Powerful spirits those!

Can I get in line behind Ida for house cleaning? 😂🤣😂

Any prednisone inspired plans for your UCLA free day? Or perhaps a well deserved long rest?? So glad that Gus is home and had such a wonderful time! Cannot imagine all that you are going through, you're still maintaining that great sense of humor. That's the best medicine! Take care, take it easy (even if the prednisone tells you otherwise). Thinking of you and checking this site often for news. Love, the other Laurie

Good morning Laurie! Thinking of you and sending healing vibes your way. So happy your boy is home safe and sound. Enjoy your walk while you have the energy. You are so strong and so inspiring! You gave me hope and strength at one of my lowest points and I am so grateful to know you. You can do this! You are stronger than you even know! xoxo

If you still have extra energy, you can come to my place and help clean here!

Let me know if you want a beach walk with me. We could go at your pace. That used to help me quite a bit during my chemo.

Good Morning Laurie,

I wake up with good wishes for you every day as you're going through this process; magic of science and all the scary things that come with it. I'm hoping this note from Brian will give you a bit of cheer.
Sending lots of love,
Karen

This is from the CLL Tribune I subscribe to; I received this on this morning.
Brian Kauffman's Notes:
This is the first newsletter since my successful CAR T therapy. I received my genetically engineered T cells in Seattle on March 22.
They worked their magic and by the best measures that science can offer, there is no measurable cancer in my bone marrow, blood or lymph nodes. I have either pushed the CLL to levels that are so low it could take years to return if it ever does or down to where it is truly gone. Only time will tell.
