Hey Laurie, sure hope you finally got that CVP. Waiting . . . it is not something very many of us do well. When I get in a tough situation and have to wait, I make a gratitude list starting from the letter A and going to Z. I think or write down all the things I'm grateful for starting with the letter A, then B, etc. It distracts my mind, passes time, and most importantly brings me to a peaceful place. Of course for me, prayer too , is the other tool in my tool box I use. Sending more love, prayers and blessings for a good day today and days to come. - Jane

Good morning, dear girl. Hoping today goes more smoothly! The waiting game is likely to continue :-( as medical facilities seem to be unable to improve the patient experience. It helps if staff keep you informed and attend to your comfort and acknowledge how difficult waiting is and that your time is even more precious!

Praying that the chemo does its job quickly and that successful CAR-T is soon in your tearview mirror. I admire you, Lady, and am continuing to pray for your fast and full remission.

Something I learned a long time ago: Surrender to what is.
Now that doesn't mean I'm always the picture of patience in situations where my time seems to not be valued. It really does no good for the spirit to be contaminated with things beyond your control. Remember, control is an illusion. We're never in control.
So much for my Buddhist wisdom. Now for a cup of coffee!! Lots of love and kisses
