I know it’s amazing about Gus. When I was diagnosed he was in kindergarten and I didn’t think I’d see his second or third grade year. Back then the doctors were so pessimistic about my long term survival as I was such a quick relapser from the old treatments. Thank heaven for dr. de Vos and the new treatment options he found me, I am still here. On June 1, 2018, I sat at Gus’s high school graduation with tears shining in my eyes that I was there to witness his success.
