Journal entry by Erika Cistone

No major changes today health wise, but a few mini victories! Lauren’s arm restraints can now be off when there are people in the room, but put back on when she’s alone - although Lauren definitely knows not to pull on anything😇  Visitors do not need to wear masks anymore 😷 Lauren was very aware and alert today and asked for something to write with and a piece of paper. Her first note, Lauren wrote to her Aunt Patty and cousin Megan “I want to go home now” 😬 Lauren was truly herself today 🤭  Her second note she wrote “IPad, Erika, Now, please”. Maurice jumped right on that and FaceTimed Erika.  Lauren was sooo excited to see her nieces Isabella and Michela and nephew Giovanni. Their faces when they got to see their Auntie Lala was completely priceless!  She definitely got over-stimulated and got emotional so we had to make the call quick. So overall, No step backwards..... which means it was a good day!  #LAURENSTRONG
