We have begun the process of sorting through the estate and belongings in earnest over the last few days and I want to personally thank brothers Daniel and David for their efforts in sorting items and hauling off trash. We have run across many memories and photos, momentos, etc. but this one item attracted my attention in spite of it’s simplicity. Due to Mom’s original surgery for the first battle with cancer, she lost the ability for a brief time to be able to write with a pen since the operation affected her right side. The attached photo is an undated note in her own handwriting joyously proclaiming she had once again regained the ability to write after the operation. It reminded me of the fact that now, having passed through death into eternal life, she no longer has to worry about any physical disability of any kind :) It’s a wonderful thing to look forward to, that perfected resurrection body in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
