Hi Linda -
Yeah it's hard to take a selfie pic like that! In this pic you can't see how puffy full of fluid and how big it is OR where it has blistered and opened up a little deep (what was originallyain concern) where the blood and stuff drains from with ANY Movement! This is what the doc is keeping a very close eye on are the blisters as it takes only 30 seconds for the stitch to Pop bc of all the tnsion, bleed and get a big bigger/deeper each time. And you can't see in the pic but he told us the skin around that ripped tension stitch skin area is necrotic/process of dying. Every day it gets a little worse so the surgeon is going to look at t again tues. Also you can't see that it is 75% purple and and the opened up spot that is now the problem. So trying a bunch of stuff before seeing him next week bc if the keeps opening and bleeding then infection could easily step in. The tension is ridiculous. But yah that'd be hard to see in small photo. Oh! Yah can't eat much except cottage cheese and smoothies :/ crap just started bleeding (tm about coincidence! Just felt something warm... Gotta run)

Your so brave, I know like you have any other choice, but great attitude. As a wound care nurse the pics look better than I expected and I hope this is it for you. Eat lots of protein to help the healing if you can.
