I truly believe you will do well tomorrow. God has only given this disease to the hardiest of people. You are strong and happy in spirit. We have to be or go nuts for sure..Whats crazy is that after all the time we spend with medical professionals, they still DONT LISTEN TO THE PATIENT! Love you and will send word to Chris Dana and Mel to put you first on their prayer list. Take a look at Dana Hitzhusen facebook(buerpreviously) …that will give you some smiles and hope for the future.

Oh dear Laura! You are always in my thoughts & prayers. Although you have so much more going on than I did, I can certainly empathize with you over the staph infection, IV antibiotics, nausea, etc since this is what I went thru in 2007. Is Dr Beiser your Infectious Disease Doc? I was never so sick in my life though so I can't even begin to comprehend what you are going thru considering all the other issues too!
Don't know if it will help you but they gave me Reglan & Promethazine at the same time I got my IV antibiotic for the nausea. Then if I had breakthrough nausea, they used zofran. It took weeks of trial & error before we got this routine figured out as being the one that worked. Also, don't let them stop the IV antibiotics until they are ABSOLUTELY sure the infection is gone!!! Mine was stopped twice too early which meant I would basically have to start all over again. You would expect all the Drs to know & do all these things right but clearly they do not so have your mom stay on top of it.
I am so praying for you honey!!! I'm sorry I have not visited but I rarely leave the house anymore. But I never stop thinking & caring about you & how you are doing.
