Laura’s Story

Site created on November 18, 2020

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Laura was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2004 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. She had a lumpectomy on her right breast after several biopsies. Followed up with 6 weeks of radiation and has been cancer free ever since!  She went back for her mammogram on Feb. 27, 2020 appointment. Mayo asked her to come back in 6 months. On her birthday (September 14), she had a biopsy the next day, she was told her cancer was back in the right breast again.
Laura drives back to Minnesota on Sat. Nov. 21 2020. Her surgery will be Wednesday, Nov. Nov. 25 2020 at Mayo, Rochester, MN.
Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
I will keep this page updated.
