Journal entry by Lara Frankovitch —
We had a lovely family service for Dad in Gladewater, TX over the weekend. We had a bagpiper, it was off and on raining (fit our mood and just like Ireland!), and such kind words were spoken. The grandchildren each put a white rose in the cemetery and it was so beautiful and touching. And our close friend of many years, Rev. Don from Corsicana and Perry, led us through a beautiful ceremony.
Also, if you have more photos of Dad/Larry, we would still love them! Feel free to upload here (click on Gallery) so everyone can see them.
Sending love and thanks to everyone who is remembering Dad right along with us. We miss him every day and retelling stories, hearing from his family and friends, and looking at pictures eases the pain just a bit.
