Journal entry by Charla Frith

As I type this post, tears of joy and relief run down my face.  Yesterday, Landen and I received the incredible news, from his Oncologist, that his scans are clear and he is now in remission!!  There are no new or enlarging lymph nodes and they continue to see improvement/reduction in size in his armpit area.  Landen was all smiles through his mask as he received the news and his first questions was, "When do I get my port out?"  He is still anxiously awaiting to hear when his procedure will be scheduled.  Hopefully soon.
Upon receiving Landen's results, we had a chance to celebrate with his close friends, he missed so much, their moms, and his brother, Cameron. It felt so good to get out, share the news, and see people.
Landen will continue to have regular checkup and scans every three months for the first year and every six months the second year.  If Hodgkin's Lymphoma returns, is usually does within the first eighteen months. We hope and pray that will NEVER happen.
The past six and 1/2 months have been exhausting and worrisome.  We are ready to take some time, relax, and breathe a little easier.
Thank you all for your support and continued prayers throughout all of this.  They worked...Amen!
