Lana moved to rehabilitaion facility Tuesday evening. She is staying at Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Lafayette (Park East Blvd.) This is the same facility she stayed in after her mastectomy in November. She will be in the facility for at least 2 weeks post surgery, with the possibilty of up to a 4 week stay. She has morning physical therapy and afternoon occupational therapy. She is allowed up to 2 visitors a day. Due to her therapy schedule, I would recommend messaging her before a visit. The facility is still requiring guests to check in before visiting and masks are required inside. She is dealing with some post surgical pain, which is to be expected, but overall is on the road to healing. She will continue to be non weight bearing for another 10 days, then she will begin to slowly use her left leg.
