So wonderful to read an update. I usually don't comment, but I wanted to say that we went to Pidgeon Forge, TN on vacation last year. It was a blast. The area is beautiful and there are lots of little shops if you visit Gatlinburg in the next town. There is a lookout that I didn't realize until we left, that you can drive to the top (don't miss it). We went over Columbus Day weekend and found out that is vacation week down there and it was packed. Have so much fun and enjoy! You deserve it and I think that no one will care how you paid for it. So happy you all get to go and have fun!!!!

So wonderful to read this update! Happy to hear that you have planned a trip..... I think the quarantine has made us all long for a more normal time.... glad you guys have something fun to look forward to. As far as the children go.... I teach at a middle school -STEM class, and you would be amazed at the level of interest my students in developing or inventing something that will help people. Their desire to make a positive impact in this world is truly humbling. Right now I have a swarm of 6th graders who are looking for a "problem" that they can help solve. So if you can think of any type of gadget that would make life easier for you, Kevin, or for Ali or any of your caregivers, let me know. (LFolsom@nsborok.k12.ma.us) Hugs to all!!! What a wonderful story. I am so impressed that Kevin was comfortable showing the bag, and that Colin was so comfortable with it too. I couldn't agree more that there should be no embarrassment about physical things like that.

Kevin was an exceptional young man when I first met him, so no surprise that he is facing his challenges with determination, courage and the loving support of family, friends, co-workers and others! Your love and caring for him is just as exceptional! Know that I keep you all in my prayers.
