The strength, determination, perseverance, and love for life that you both have are so apparent in these posts. The pictures are like icing on the cake! We can only imagine how overwhelming it must feel, and in those moments when the dark feelings come, it must be so difficult to chase them away... But, you both do it,.. time and time again! It is true that you are in one the best rehabilitation hospitals, but Kevin is the BEST kind of rehabilitation candidate and you are the perfect partner! Kevin and you are amazing. I am so incredibly impressed by how you both keep working at it and try so hard to stay positive. You really are inspirations. He will be walking out of there eventually, I have no doubt. Someday this will all be but a memory yet one that will inspire others for generations to come. Ali please be sure to take some self care time. There's a lot of responsibility on those beautiful shoulders of yours and you need to be mindful of your needs as well. Caregiver stress is real. The fireworks were a sign of how brightly you shine through the darkness and I think of Katy Perry's song, "Cuz baby you're a firework. Come on let those colors burst". And you do...every day and we, your Army are blessed that you allow us into your hearts and lives. Prayers and love for a wonderful weekend....I see movement returning to Kevin's arms and hands <3

This is amazing to see. Simply amazing. I’m so happy that you have such phenomenal therapists to help lift you up on those days when you need it the most. Your strength & tenacity will continue to power you through those moments when your body & mind want to hit the pause button but the Kevin button says no way. You’ve got the biggest cheering squad ever & having fireworks to top off a day like that is the perfect way to end the day. Keep up the great work Kevin!

Another day filled with impressive progress from Kevin, including his ability to pull himself through those difficult moments!
